Senior Full stack Developer (React, Node, JavaScript, Typescript) || Chicago, IL, Hybrid

Job Description

• Primarily frontend

• React is front, node is back

• For the most part frontend requests are for this one.

• REST API dev work

• Frameworks-modernizing would be a good thing-we're not super current in our websites now. We're trying to modernize now but idk what offhand our versions are. I know we're trying to build out new Bms we're so far behind it's easier to build new rather than upgrade. Typescript, javascript, typescript-the reason id say jajvascript is I'll be transferring them to javascript-it would be great if we standardized frontend javascript.

• React native

• Owning the dev process.

• Reviewing the work, giving fdbk, ada compliance on the websites-- that senior makes sense

• Experience would be great with salesforce

• We use salesforce service cloud (that's the other side of the team but having the knowledge for it would be good)

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React, JavaScript, and Node

• Participate in the modernization of existing websites and digital platforms.

• Build and consume RESTful APIs to support frontend functionality and integrations.

• Develop and support React Native applications as needed.

• Own the development lifecycle for assigned initiatives from design through deployment.

• Review code, provide technical feedback, and mentor team members on development best practices.

• Establish and promote frontend coding standards, architecture patterns, and quality processes.

• Ensure applications comply with ADA accessibility requirements and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with product, design, business, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while continuously improving performance and usability.

• Support ongoing efforts to standardize frontend technologies and development methodologies.

Required Qualifications 7+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong expertise in React development.

• Extensive experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.

• Experience working within modern web application architectures.

• Strong understanding of frontend development best practices and design patterns.

• Experience conducting code reviews and providing technical mentorship.

• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and ADA compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of large initiatives.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
