Enterprise Project Manager – Consultant

We’re seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager to support high-priority IT projects for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS). This role will work closely with the CIO, business units, management teams, and external vendors to successfully plan and deliver multiple complex projects.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Project Management experience

• 3+ years of Project Management experience in a healthcare insurance IT environment

• Strong project planning, resource allocation, and risk management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel

• PMI certification required

Preferred:

• Experience with Medicaid or Healthcare Delivery Systems

• Healthcare claims system IT project experience

• PMP certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop business requirements and comprehensive project plans

• Manage project risks, issues, resources, timelines, and deliverables

• Track project progress and provide status reports to leadership

• Create and maintain project management documentation and artifacts

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and diverse stakeholders

• Manage multiple high-profile, high-priority projects simultaneously

• Provide executive-level presentations and project updates
