Social Media & Content Specialist

Overview
Adira Digital is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media & Content Specialist to support content strategy, creation, editing, publishing, and performance across multiple client accounts.
This is a hybrid role that includes both remote work and onsite content production. You will work alongside Elishia at client content shoots, events, and brand activations to execute shot lists, capture high-quality iPhone footage, and gather behind-the-scenes content.
A major part of this role is short-form video editing. Candidates must be confident editing talking-head reels, voiceover reels, trend-based content, and UGC-style videos that are engaging, polished, and aligned with each client’s brand.
The ideal candidate is proactive, trend-aware, dependable, and able to turn raw footage and strategic ideas into compelling content that supports awareness, engagement, leads, and conversions.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy and Management
- Support day-to-day content creation, publishing, and engagement for approximately 3–5 clients
- Build and maintain monthly content calendars
- Identify the purpose of each post, including awareness, engagement, education, lead generation, or conversion
- Research relevant trends, events, holidays, industry updates, and client announcements
- Apply platform best practices across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Understand and maintain each client’s brand voice, visual identity, goals, and target audience
- Contribute ideas for campaigns, content shoots, reels, and promotional strategies
Copywriting and Creative Design
- Write engaging, on-brand captions with clear calls to action
- Research and include relevant hashtags and searchable keywords
- Use AI tools for brainstorming and support while maintaining original, brand-specific work
- Design graphics, carousels, promotional assets, and Instagram Stories
- Select photos, videos, and creative assets that strengthen each message
- Maintain a cohesive and professional look across client accounts
Reels, UGC, and Short-Form Video Editing
- Confidently edit talking-head reels, UGC videos, voiceover reels, event recaps, and trend-based content
- Turn raw footage into polished, engaging videos with strong hooks and pacing
- Organize, review, trim, and sequence footage efficiently
- Add captions, on-screen text, B-roll, music, sound effects, transitions, and calls to action
- Select appropriate trending audio and editing styles
- Edit using CapCut, Instagram, Canva, Adobe tools, or similar platforms
- Follow creative briefs while also contributing original ideas
- Maintain each client’s visual identity and editing style
- Revise content based on internal and client feedback
Onsite Content Support
- Attend client content shoots with Elishia throughout Seattle and the Eastside
- Help develop, organize, and execute shot lists
- Capture high-quality vertical iPhone footage for reels, Stories, ads, and UGC
- Capture behind-the-scenes content of clients, team members, and Elishia
- Attend events and brand activations to capture:
- Event highlights
- Social-ready vertical footage
- Ambiance and detail shots
- Talking-head clips
- Influencer-style and UGC footage
- Guest interactions and testimonials
- Support lighting, framing, posing, and creative direction
- Upload, label, and organize footage promptly after shoots
Email Marketing and Flodesk
- Assist with email newsletters and promotional campaigns through Flodesk
- Write and format engaging email copy
- Design branded email layouts using client photos, graphics, and offers
- Support campaign planning, audience segmentation, and scheduling
- Review basic email performance, including opens, clicks, and conversions
- Repurpose social media campaigns and promotions into email content
Social Media and Meta Advertising
- Assist with developing creative assets and copy for social media advertising
- Support Facebook and Instagram advertising through Meta Ads Manager
- Create and resize graphics and video content for paid campaigns
- Help test different hooks, captions, calls to action, and creative formats
- Monitor basic advertising performance and assist with reporting
- Bonus: Experience setting up audiences, campaigns, retargeting, budgets, and conversion tracking
Publishing, Engagement, and Analytics
- Submit content for internal and client approval
- Make revisions accurately and promptly
- Schedule and publish content through Get Rella, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms
- Monitor comments and direct messages as assigned
- Track account and content performance
- Help prepare clear monthly analytics reports
- Identify top-performing content and recommend future improvements
- Maintain consistency across all client platforms
Internal Systems and Collaboration
- Use ClickUp to manage tasks, deadlines, and deliverables
- Communicate consistently through Slack
- Collaborate with Elishia on client strategy, campaigns, and content-shoot planning
- Communicate proactively about questions, delays, or missing assets
- Track time accurately and follow Adira Digital’s contractor processes
- Meet deadlines and maintain organized client files and footage
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing
- Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video editing
- Confident editing talking-head reels, UGC videos, and voiceover content
- Experience capturing onsite content using an iPhone and gimbal
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Excellent copywriting, grammar, and brand-voice alignment
- Proficiency in Canva and CapCut or similar creative tools
- Familiarity with Get Rella, Meta Business Suite, or similar scheduling platforms
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
- Strong creative judgment and awareness of current social media trends
- Comfortable receiving feedback and completing revisions
- Reliable transportation and availability for shoots throughout Seattle and the Eastside
