  • Support care coordination and patient flow

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members

  • Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all patients

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

 Why Join WVHC?

  • Be part of a mission-driven organization serving underserved populations

  • Work alongside a supportive, collaborative care team

  • Make a direct impact on patients’ lives every single day

  • Grow your skills in an environment that values compassion, respect, and teamwork

 What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is not only skilled, but who truly cares—someone who understands that small moments of empathy can make a big difference.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Associate degree required)

  • Current Medical Assistant certification/registration preferred

  • CPR certification required

  • Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred (3+ years a plus)

  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

 Skills & Attributes

  • Compassionate and patient-focused

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds

  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

  • Commitment to teamwork and high-quality care

If you’re ready to bring your skills, compassion, and heart to a place where your work truly matters, we would love to hear from you.
