Position: Physical Therapist

Location: Mauston, WI 53948

Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility / Rehabilitation

Schedule: Full-Time | Days

Compensation: $91,000–$138,000/year, based on experience

Experience: New graduates/candidates with less than 1 year of experience may be considered

About the Opportunity

The Physical Therapist will work with patients to improve functional mobility and independence, manage pain, reduce fall risk, support recovery, and assist with discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients experiencing movement dysfunction or pain

• Develop interventions to improve mobility and activities of daily living

• Support post-surgical recovery and reduce risks such as falls and DVT

• Complete evaluations, progress notes, daily documentation, and discharge documentation

• Coordinate with physicians, healthcare providers, insurance companies, patients, and rehabilitation staff

• Support treatment-area organization and other departmental responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Physical Therapy education and qualifications required for professional practice

• New graduates are welcome to be considered

• Ability to obtain/meet applicable Wisconsin licensure requirements

• Strong patient-care, communication, and clinical documentation skills

• Comfortable working within a rehabilitation/SNF environment
