We're Hiring: Associate Attorney – Construction Law (5–9 Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 5–9 years of Construction Law experience to join our growing legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated construction litigation, contract negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, and risk management matters for clients across the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex construction litigation from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, design agreements, and related project documentation.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and other ADR proceedings.
• Provide legal counsel on construction-related risks, regulatory compliance, and contract management.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and appear before courts and tribunals.
• Build strong client relationships while collaborating with attorneys and legal professionals.

Required Qualifications:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Bar Admission in good standing in New York (NY) or New Jersey (NJ).
• 5–9 years of dedicated Construction Law experience.
• Strong background in construction litigation, contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Experience representing owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, architects, or engineers.
• Trial, arbitration, or mediation experience.
• Former District Attorneys, Prosecutors, or Corporation Counsel with substantial litigation experience are encouraged to apply.
