Accounting Assistant – Pleotax
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support our growing tax and accounting firm. This role involves assisting with bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation support, client communication, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable learning new software while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Enter and reconcile financial transactions
  • Assist with bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online
  • Prepare and organize documents for tax returns
  • Support payroll processing and related filings
  • Maintain accurate client records and digital files
  • Communicate with clients to request documents and answer basic questions
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
  • Complete other accounting and office tasks as assigned
