Infor AutoRelease Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Infor AutoRelease Consultant to design, implement, configure, and support the Infor AutoRelease solution for warehouse and distribution operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Infor WMS, order fulfillment, release strategies, warehouse optimization, and integration with ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure the Infor AutoRelease solution based on business requirements.

• Design and optimize order release strategies to improve warehouse efficiency.

• Configure release rules based on:

  • Inventory availability

  • Order priority

  • Carrier schedules

  • Wave planning

  • Customer SLAs

  • Shipping constraints

• Integrate AutoRelease with:

  • Infor WMS

  • ERP systems (Infor LN, M3, XA, SAP, Oracle, etc.)

  • Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

• Analyze warehouse workflows and recommend process improvements.

• Troubleshoot AutoRelease issues and optimize system performance.

• Develop functional and technical documentation.

• Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT.

• Provide production support and resolve critical issues.

• Work closely with warehouse operations, business users, and IT teams.

• Participate in solution architecture and release planning.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with Infor WMS.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Infor AutoRelease.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Warehouse Management

  • Order Management

  • Wave Planning

  • Inventory Management

  • Distribution & Logistics

• Experience configuring AutoRelease rules and workflows.

• Knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting and reporting.

• Experience integrating Infor applications using APIs, ION, or middleware.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:

  • Infor ION

  • Infor OS

  • Infor M3/LN/XA

  • RF devices and warehouse automation

  • Parcel carrier integrations

  • EDI

• Knowledge of supply chain best practices.

• Agile project experience.

• Infor certifications are a plus.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with cloud-based Infor deployments.

• Exposure to robotics or automated warehouse systems.

• Power BI or Tableau reporting experience.

• Experience with REST APIs and integration frameworks.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
