Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dependable Storeroom Attendant to support daily warehouse and inventory operations at a customer location in Horicon, WI.
This is a customer-facing position responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, and maintaining inventory. After training, the selected candidate will be the only associate on-site during the 3rd shift, so dependability, independence, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills are essential.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify parts and tools are helpful.
Schedule & Training
- Regular Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
- Overtime: Rare
- Training: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM for approximately 2–3 weeks

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming products, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Check shipments for damage and discrepancies against invoices.
- Sort, label, organize, and store materials in racks, shelves, and bins.
- Issue parts, tools, equipment, PPE, and supplies to customer employees.
- Maintain accurate records of issued and returned items.
- Enter inventory information into computerized systems.
- Use an Excel-based catalog to search for parts and materials.
- Learn and use two ERP/inventory management systems.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Identify and report damaged, defective, lost, or misplaced tools and equipment.
- Request replenishment of inventory when needed.
- Stock point-of-use (POU) areas with janitorial supplies.
- Restock vending machines with small tools, PPE, and other materials.
- Deliver tools and equipment to employee work areas when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional storeroom environment.
- Assist with pallet jack operations as needed.
- Support other warehouse and inventory projects as assigned.
- May occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
Requirements
- At least 3 months of relevant warehouse, storeroom, inventory, or material-handling experience, or equivalent training.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Experience with loading, unloading, picking, packing, stocking, or moving goods is helpful.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory and ERP systems.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and computerized inventory systems.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, work orders, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, and measurements.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable and dependable attendance is essential.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify parts and tools are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move materials throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to use a pallet jack.
- Steel-toe shoes with internal metatarsal protection are required.
