We're looking for a Health Information Management Technician II to support a healthcare project focused on clearing a backlog of missing delivery summaries. This is a great opportunity for candidates with medical records and health information management experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process and manage health information records
• Pick up, prep, scan, and index patient records into the EMR
• Review records for deficiencies and maintain documentation accuracy
• Manage transcription-related clerical tasks and EMR work queues
• Respond to department calls and provide administrative support
• Assist with additional HIM department responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications:
✔ High School Diploma or GED
✔ 1+ year of clerical experience
✔ 1+ year of medical records experience
✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
✔ Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
✔ RHIT or RHIA certification (Preferred, not required)
