Principal Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer with 15+ years of software development experience to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade full-stack applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, OpenShift, AWS, Agile development, Angular or React, JavaScript, Kafka, and Web Services (REST/SOAP). Responsibilities include developing scalable microservices using the Twelve-Factor App methodology, building responsive and Section 508-compliant user interfaces with Angular, React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JSP, AJAX, and jQuery, designing REST/SOAP APIs with Spring Data/JPA and JAX-WS, implementing Kafka-based event-driven integrations, and working with IBM DataPower for secure API integration. The role also requires experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Docker, and OpenShift, along with cloud deployment experience on AWS (Azure and Google Cloud are a plus). Candidates should have strong leadership skills, including mentoring developers, driving Agile, BDD, and TDD best practices, ensuring architecture and code quality, and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
