📍 Locations: El Segundo | Fresno | Oakland | Ontario | Orange | Redding | Sacramento | San Diego | San Jose | Westlake Village, CA

🏢 Work Mode: Hybrid / On-site as required

💼 Employment: Full-Time

💰 Salary: $230,000–$290,000/year + Quarterly Bonus Opportunities

👨‍⚖️ Experience: 8+ years | 10+ years relevant experience preferred

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Law Attorney with a strong background in PAGA litigation, employment litigation, wage & hour law, and class actions.

⭐ Key Requirement

Recent PAGA experience is mandatory. Candidates must have actively worked on PAGA matters within the past 12 months. Experience older than one year will not meet the client's requirements.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee PAGA claims and employment litigation

Develop litigation strategies and represent clients in settlement negotiations and trials

Manage discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

Advise clients on California labor law compliance

Conduct wage & hour and compliance audits

Advise on employee classification and meal/rest break compliance

Monitor California labor legislation and case law

Develop and maintain client relationships

Lead PAGA compliance training and presentations

Mentor junior attorneys and review legal work

📋 Requirements

✅ 8+ years of employment law experience

✅ 10+ years of relevant experience preferred

✅ Recent PAGA experience within the last 12 months — Mandatory

✅ Strong employment litigation and defense background

✅ Significant PAGA, class action, and compliance expertise

✅ Wage & hour audit experience

✅ JD and Bachelor's degree

✅ Member of the State Bar of California in good standing

✅ Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, written, and oral communication skills

✅ Strong case management abilities

🎯 Preferred: Jury trial/civil court trial experience and public entity defense experience
