Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC(A), LCSW(A), LMFT)

About This Role

We’re hiring a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide client-centered care in a hybrid role based in Indian Trail, North Carolina. You’ll support clients through assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapy, while coordinating care and maintaining clear, timely documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intakes and mental health assessments.

• Build rapport and work with clients to set meaningful treatment goals.

• Develop and update treatment plans based on each client’s needs and progress.

• Provide evidence-based therapy and monitor client outcomes.

• Coordinate case management and connect clients with appropriate resources.

• Complete accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA and applicable requirements.

• Follow patient, public, and workplace safety practices and take accountability for your work.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field.

• Current North Carolina license or associate-level credential, such as LCMHC, LCMHCA, LCSW, LCSWA, LMFT, or LMFTA.

• Experience with assessment, treatment planning, case management, and evidence-based therapy.

• Strong documentation skills and knowledge of HIPAA requirements.

• Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and support their development.

• Specialization is not required but highly wanted.
