Role: Salesforce Data Cloud Developer

Location: Dallas, TX - Hybrid

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Developer to design, implement, and optimize Salesforce Data Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, calculated insights, and activation. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable customer data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Data Cloud solutions based on business requirements. Configure data streams, data model objects (DMOs), data lake objects (DLOs), and identity resolution rules.

• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines from multiple source systems.

• Create calculated insights, segments, and activation targets.

• Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and external applications.

• Develop automation using Flow, Apex, APIs, and Platform Events where required. Optimize data quality, performance, governance, and security.

• Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions. Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support.

• Maintain technical documentation and follow Salesforce best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.

• Knowledge of Data Streams, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Data Model Objects (DMOs), Identity Resolution, Calculated Insights, Segments, and Activations.

• Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with CRM and external systems.

• Understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts.

• Experience with Salesforce Platform (Flows, Apex, APIs, Lightning).

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and ETL tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant or related Salesforce certifications.

• Experience with Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Customer 360.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with data warehousing and customer data platforms (CDPs).
