Caregiver

Description

Responsible for providing personal assistance services (PAS) to agency clients.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Personal care - Mobility and transfer, bathing, dressing, grooming; feeding; exercising, toileting, incontinent care, positioning, reminders, and assisting with self-administered medications.

• Meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, linen change, laundry, shopping, errands, and transportation.

• Companionship, activities, and socialization.

• Completion of annual training and performance review requirements.

• Completion of Care Logs/Time Sheets.

• Timely reporting of changes in client condition or problems with client and schedules.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

1. Must be 18 years or older.

2. Demonstrate competency in providing tasks to clients.

3. Must be able to read, write, and follow directions in English.    

4. Observes and practices rules of conduct, ethics, and confidentiality.

5. Must observe all work rules and must have read, understand, and comply with all applicable agency policies.
