Web Designer

We are a small artist collective looking to hire someone to do UX for our online storefront. We are a queer and neurodivergent ran group, and would prefer to hire someone with a similar background in an effort to provide work for historically underprivileged groups.
All qualified candidates are welcome to apply, and we do not ask questions related to this information at any point in the process regardless.
At the moment it is incredibly basic in design and is integrated with our Etsy API to show a live stock feed, however we would like the site to look more professional and have more visual appeal.
The ideal candidate we are looking for to build this site should be familiar with the following:

• Analog media and it's currently existing fan base
• Current internet design trends
• Aesthetic influences pulled from retro homepage sites such as Neocities and personally hosted blogs from the 90s to late 2000s
  There is no strict timeline for this project, and we are happy to negotiate a working price for the righr candidate even if it is outside of the listed pay range.
