Recruiter

Optivus Staffing is seeking experienced Recruiters to join our growing team on a flexible, as-needed basis.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced recruiter looking to earn additional income without committing to another full-time or part-time schedule. There are no required weekly hours. Recruiters work when Optivus has open positions that need to be filled.
Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified candidates for open positions
• Screen and qualify candidates
• Conduct initial interviews
• Present qualified candidates to the Optivus team
• Maintain communication and follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Work quickly and independently when positions become available
  Qualifications
• 2+ years of recruiting or staffing experience required
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate-screening skills
• Excellent communication and follow-up
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with professional, clerical, or light industrial recruiting is a plus
• Full-desk recruiting experience is a plus
  Compensation
• 1099 independent contractor
• Paid per successful placement
• Compensation is based on a percentage of placement revenue
• Full-desk recruiters who bring in their own clients are eligible for a higher placement percentage
• No guaranteed hours or assignments
  Optivus can provide recruiting tools and resources. Access to your own recruiting platforms or sourcing tools is a plus.
  As Optivus grows, successful recruiters will have the opportunity to take on expanded responsibilities and potentially transition into salaried positions.
