Sr. .Net Backend/ Web Development Engineer || Remote

Must have Retail experience

• 8+ years of C#.Net/ Azure Services backend development experience

• Web Development/ UI experience with C# Blazor (server and/or WebAssembly)

• Experience building and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices with Azure Functions

• Experience in SQL and NoSQL Databases including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and SQLite

•   Experience with CI/CD Pipelines 

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with C#, .NET Core / .NET 10+, and Azure services.

• Strong experience building and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices with Azure Functions, APIM, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Key Vault.

• Proven experience building web applications / UIs in C# with Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly).

• Proficient in C#, Razor / Blazor, HTML5, CSS3, MVVM patterns, dependency injection, and SOLID design principles.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases - including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and SQLite.

• Experience with RESTful API design, authentication / authorization (OAuth2 / OIDC, Entra ID), and web security best practices (OWASP Top 10).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, GitHub Actions), branching strategies, and release governance.

• Strong problem-solving skills - ability to trace issues end-to-end across web, API, and database layers.

• Ability to ramp up quickly, work independently, and contribute meaningfully from day one with minimal handholding.

• Excellent communication skills - able to collaborate across dev, QA, product, and business teams.
