Java Fullstack Developer

Role: Sr Full Stack Developer with AWS (W2 basis ONLY)

Location: Columbus OH

Contract: 6+ months

Relocation candidates can also be considered.

Experience level and required skills:

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and the Spring Framework.

• Proficient in React and building interactive user interfaces.

• Familiarity with RESTful services and database management.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems.

• Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.

• Ability to work on-site.

• 6+ Years of exp.

• Java/Spring Boot/Microservices/API/Kafka + AWS – MUST HAVE

• There is a small front end built in React – 10% front end would be perfect

• Will be working with S3/Lambdas/ECS clusters/EC2 – Must have

• Will be using Docker/Kubernetes to work within ECS – Must have

• Will need to be strong in building API’s from scratch

• No existing code or API’s – Will all be new from scratch

• Looking for someone Sr, can work on their own, confident, good communication skills

• Group is using Splunk/Dynatrace/Grafana – big plus

• 8+ years experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java and the Spring Framework.

• Create user interfaces with React that are both responsive and user-friendly.

• Design and implement RESTful services for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.

• Manage databases to ensure data integrity and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

• Utilize version control systems to manage code changes effectively.

• Implement microservices architecture for scalable application development.
