Job Summary

We are seeking a Storeroom Attendant to support daily receiving, stocking, issuing, inventory management, and delivery of tools, materials, equipment, and supplies at a customer’s industrial facility.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, good customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming products, tools, materials, and equipment.
• Sort, label, move, and store items on racks, shelves, and bins.
• Issue tools, equipment, and supplies to site employees and maintain accurate records.
• Enter inventory information into computer systems and maintain accurate stock records.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or misplaced equipment.
• Deliver tools and materials between work areas and buildings.
• Operate a battery-powered cart for daily deliveries and material pickups.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom.
• Assist with replenishing inventory as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, valid driver's license is required.
• At least 3 months of relevant warehouse experience and/or training.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, work orders, and operating instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Warehouse, forklift, cherry picker, loading/unloading, picking, packing, or material-handling experience is a plus. Forklift certification can be completed on the job if needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
• Employees may walk up to 4.5 miles per day and use stairs approximately 18–20 times per shift.
• May need to climb a safety-equipped ladder to stock shelves up to 8 feet high.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance as required.
• Steel-toe shoes are required.

Work Environment: The facility is heated during winter but does not have air conditioning during summer, so the work area can become warm.

Training Schedule

Training will be conducted on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:20 PM, for approximately 3–4 weeks.

After training, the regular schedule will be:

Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:20 PM

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
