Summary

We’re hiring someone who has direct, proven experience successfully selling SaaS into colleges and universities.

This is a core enterprise sales role focused on driving institutional adoption across higher education. You will own the full sales cycle — from outbound through procurement to close — and work directly with leadership to secure early university partnerships.

We are currently preparing for launch with initial university partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise SaaS sales into colleges and universities

  • Own full sales cycle: outreach → demos → procurement → close

  • Build relationships across Student Affairs, IT, and Administration

  • Drive early partnership strategy and institutional adoption

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • Minimum 3+ years successfully selling SaaS directly to colleges/universities

  • Existing relationships within colleges/universities (e.g. Student Affairs, Administration, IT, Athletics, Campus Life, etc.) that can be leveraged for early traction and introductions.

  • Proven track record successfully closing enterprise or institutional deals in higher education ($25K–$100K+ ACV, annual contract value)

  • Proven track record successfully closing enterprise or institutional deals in higher education

  • Strong understanding of university procurement and decision-making processes

  • Ability to operate independently in an early-stage environment

Compensation

Equity

  • 1.0% equity, based on a fixed 4,000,000 share cap table (so 40,000 shares total)

  • Standard 3-month cliff, then monthly vesting over 36 months total

Cash Incentive (contractor phase only)

  • One-time payment per community you help bring on

  • 25%–50% of the first month’s revenue from that community

  • Exact % depends on the quality, size, and your level of involvement

This is not a marketing or social media role.
