We are seeking an experienced IBM Storage Fusion HCI Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Storage Fusion, OpenShift, Red Hat ODF/Ceph, IBM Storage Scale, disaster recovery, and enterprise storage solutions.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Rack, initialize, and configure IBM Storage Fusion HCI appliances
✅ Configure node roles, network switches, and OpenShift (OCP) cluster bring-up
✅ Deploy and manage Fusion Data Foundation (Red Hat ODF / Ceph)
✅ Configure block, file, and object storage using RGW / MCG
✅ Configure IBM Storage Scale Global Data Platform, file systems, filesets, and CSI integration
✅ Manage StorageClasses, PV/PVC lifecycle, snapshots, clones, and volume expansion
✅ Implement Fusion Backup & Restore policies and validate application-consistent restores
✅ Configure Metro-DR / Regional-DR using RBD mirroring and Red Hat ACM
✅ Execute disaster recovery drills and validation activities
✅ Integrate external storage including IBM FlashSystem, NFS, and S3 using CSI drivers
✅ Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, health monitoring, and troubleshooting
✅ Monitor environments using Fusion UI, OpenShift Console, Prometheus, and Grafana
✅ Perform firmware/software upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
✅ Develop HLD/LLD, runbooks, and as-built documentation
✅ Provide L3 support and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for storage incidents
