Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support compliance monitoring, regulatory requirements, risk management, and internal control activities. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing policies and procedures, identifying compliance gaps, analyzing data, maintaining documentation, and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor business processes and activities to ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and internal standards.

Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and control testing to identify potential gaps or areas of risk.

Research and analyze regulatory requirements and assist with implementing changes to policies and procedures.

Identify compliance issues, document findings, and track corrective actions through resolution.

Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and management updates using Excel and other reporting tools.

Review and analyze data to identify discrepancies, trends, exceptions, and potential compliance risks.

Maintain accurate and audit-ready compliance documentation, records, and evidence.

Support internal and external audits by gathering documentation and responding to information requests.

Partner with Legal, Risk, Audit, IT, Operations, and business teams to resolve compliance-related issues.

Communicate compliance requirements, findings, and recommendations clearly to business and technical stakeholders.

Escalate significant compliance risks or control deficiencies to appropriate leadership.

Support continuous improvement of compliance processes, controls, and reporting.

Required Skills

Experience in Compliance, Regulatory, Risk Management, Audit, or Governance.

Understanding of compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and internal controls.

Experience with control testing, compliance reviews, or regulatory reporting.

Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

Experience in healthcare, financial services, insurance, banking, or other regulated industries.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry-specific compliance requirements.

Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting/analytics tools.

Experience supporting audits, remediation programs, or regulatory examinations.

Familiarity with GRC, risk, compliance, or governance platforms.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.

Relevant compliance, risk, audit, or regulatory certifications are a plus.
