The Washington, D.C. office has an immediate need for an oil and gas associate with 1-3 years of experience.
Key Qualifications:
Mandatory knowledge/experience of or strong interest in oil and gas law/regulatory work and representing large integrated oil and gas and energy companies
Experience or interest in oil and gas and energy regulatory work
Experience or interest in federal energy policies and initiatives
Experience in administrative law and challenging federal agency action, including administrative appeals
Background/knowledge/experience in federal laws impacting the oil and gas industry, including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA), Mineral Leasing Act (Act), Endangered Species Act (ESA), Clean Water Act (CWA) strongly preferred
Experience with civil enforcement defense and related litigation preferred

This position may be filled in Washington, DC. In accordance with applicable Pay Transparency Laws, the pay range for this position in this location is $225,000 – 260,000/yr. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
