Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Lead / Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise data warehouse solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and optimization, combined with strong Informatica PowerCenter, IICS/IDMC, ETL/ELT, and data engineering experience. The candidate should also be comfortable providing technical leadership on complex data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Architecture & Optimization

• Design and architect scalable, high-performance Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through warehouse sizing, clustering, partitioning, caching, and query tuning.
• Define Snowflake architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Implement Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities for advanced analytics and intelligent data processing.
• Manage Snowflake security, RBAC, data sharing, and cost optimization.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake performance and usage.

ETL & Data Integration — IICS / IDMC

• Lead end-to-end ETL/ELT development using Informatica IICS and IDMC.
• Design and build data pipelines integrating diverse data sources into Snowflake.
• Leverage Informatica PowerCenter and IICS for complex data transformations.
• Implement CDC, real-time, and batch data ingestion patterns.
• Ensure data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

Data Warehouse Design

• Lead dimensional modeling using star and snowflake schemas.
• Design and optimize dimension and fact tables based on business requirements.
• Define data architecture and develop first-cut solution designs.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical data solutions.
• Establish data modeling and development standards.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineering teams.
• Review solution designs and development deliverables.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and project teams.
• Troubleshoot complex data integration and warehouse issues.
• Ensure solutions follow enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on Snowflake architecture and development experience.
• Strong IICS / Informatica IDMC experience.
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Strong ETL/ELT and data integration experience.
• Experience designing enterprise data warehouses.
• Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with CDC, batch, and real-time data ingestion.
• Strong SQL and query optimization skills.
• Experience with Snowflake security, RBAC, data sharing, and cost optimization.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Plainsboro, NJ.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior Snowflake Lead/Architect with strong IICS/IDMC and Informatica PowerCenter expertise who can lead enterprise data warehouse architecture, optimize Snowflake environments, and provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the data engineering lifecycle.

Candidates must be able to work onsite in Plainsboro, NJ.
