Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Participate in the design and implementation of test automation strategies.
- Maintain and update automated test suites as needed.
- Report and track defects in bug tracking systems.

Skills & Abilities Required:

- 6+ years of total IT experience, with 4+ years dedicated to developing automation scripts using Playwright with TypeScript and Selenium with Java.
- Strong experience with industry automation frameworks (e.g., BDD, Cucumber, POM).
- Must have hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript.
- Ability to create, execute, and maintain automated test suites, test plans, and test cases based on user stories and requirements.
- Proven track record of ensuring test coverage, execution, and timely delivery.
- Experience with SCM tools like Git or SVN.
- Experience in REST API automation tools (e.g., Rest Assured, HTTP Client with Java) is an added advantage.
- Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
- Ability to support engineering teams in troubleshooting issues with applications and dev/test environments.
- Willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Development and BSA) to test and report on performance, quality, security, and stability.
- Commitment to enforcing software engineering best practices, QA methodologies, and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
