Job Description
We are seeking a mid-level Estimator to handle estimating and coordination of residential and commercial property damage claims, including fire, water, wind, and other incidents. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, customer focused, and capable of delivering accurate estimates in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Complete site inspections on project assignments and input data from field inspections to prepare accurate, timely estimates.
Negotiate directly with insurance representatives and third-party administrators.
Work with property owners to address and resolve time-sensitive property damage claims.
Demonstrate empathy and provide exceptional customer service to clients and project payees.
Maintain accurate logs of all relevant communications and ensure compliance with third-party provider performance standards.
Be detail oriented and manage large amounts of information with multiple, time-sensitive tasks.
Demonstrate knowledge of general construction practices and property damage restoration methods.
Take direction from the assigned manager and communicate progress on a regular basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
College degree (2–4 years) or equivalent experience
2–4 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
Specialized training: IICRC FSRT, IICRC WRT, IICRC ASD, IICRC OCT
Certificates/Licenses: WI Dwelling Contractor, Valid Driver's License
Equipment: iPad/tablet, smartphone, laptop, measuring tools, ladder
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role involves onsite work in environments affected by fire, water, wind, or other structural damage. Travel within the region may be required. The position may require lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to variable conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be provided as needed.
