Sign Installer

FASTSIGNS of Findlay is seeking an experienced Sign Installer to install a variety of commercial signage throughout the Findlay area. This is a hands-on position for a skilled tradesperson who can read blueprints, work with tools and equipment, perform basic electrical connections, and safely install signs according to project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install interior and exterior commercial signs, including monument signs, single- and double-pole signs, channel letters, dimensional signs, wall signs, ADA signage, and vehicle graphics
• Set foundations and footers for monument and pole-mounted signs
• Assist with excavation, concrete, anchors, and footer inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, measurements, and installation specifications
• Safely disconnect and connect electrical components associated with sign installation
• Install fasteners, brackets, anchors, hardware, and other sign components
• Operate ladders, lifts, power tools, and hand tools
• Inspect completed installations for proper alignment, leveling, security, and quality
• Safely load, transport, and handle signs, materials, and equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite and follow applicable safety requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sign installation, construction, electrical work, or a related skilled trade
• Ability to read blueprints and follow installation specifications
• Experience with hand and power tools, fasteners, anchors, and installation equipment
• Knowledge of basic electrical connections
• Experience with concrete, foundations, footers, or site preparation preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and work from lifts
• Ability to lift and maneuver signs, materials, and equipment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Proficiency in relevant computer systems and software applications

Sign fabrication experience is a plus, but not required.

About the Position

FASTSIGNS of Findlay installs most types of commercial signage, with typical installations 10–12 feet or less. The Sign Installer will work on a variety of projects and locations without the lead or supervisory responsibilities associated with a Lead Installer position.

Location: Findlay, Ohio

Pay: $30.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience
