Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced WDIO Developer / SDET with strong hands-on experience in WebdriverIO (WDIO), JavaScript/TypeScript, and test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts for web applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO (WDIO).

• Build and enhance scalable UI and end-to-end automation frameworks.

• Work with JavaScript/TypeScript to develop robust automation solutions.

• Create and maintain Page Object Model (POM) frameworks.

• Develop automated tests for functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.

• Execute automated test suites and analyze failures, logs, and defects.

• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Work with Cucumber, Mocha, or Jasmine for behavior-driven and test automation frameworks.

• Perform API testing using REST APIs and tools such as Postman.

• Implement test reporting using tools such as Allure or HTML reports.

• Troubleshoot automation failures and improve test stability and execution time.

• Participate in code reviews and follow automation coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET.

• Strong hands-on experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO).

• Strong programming experience in JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Experience with Selenium/WebDriver concepts.

• Strong knowledge of Page Object Model (POM).

• Experience with Mocha, Jasmine, or Cucumber.

• Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.

• Strong knowledge of Git and source-code management.

• Experience with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Good understanding of test automation frameworks, debugging, and defect lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Selenium Grid.

• Experience with Docker and cloud-based test execution.

• Knowledge of performance or security testing.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Experience with SQL/database validation.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
