We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team.
Position Overview
As a Staff Accountant at Blueprint Manufacturing Co., you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with finance and operational teams while contributing to the company's financial success.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Support inventory accounting and manufacturing cost tracking.
Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
Help ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls.
Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.
Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting.
CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification.
Experience working with manufacturing ERP systems.
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
