šŸ“ Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Front-End Developer for a temporary engagement to support our digital infrastructure hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). There is a heavy lift of Claude code to integrate. You will be responsible for maintaining the visual integrity, performance, and accessibility of our primary websites while ensuring seamless integration with Google Cloud services (Firebase, Cloud Run, etc.). This role is critical for stabilizing our existing web ecosystem and implementing high-priority UI/UX updates.

šŸ›  Key Responsibilities:

Website Maintenance & Optimization āš™ļø

  • Perform routine maintenance on existing web properties, ensuring all components are up-to-date and bug-free.


  • Optimize website performance (Core Web Vitals) for speed, scalability, and mobile responsiveness.


  • Audit and fix accessibility (WCAG) and cross-browser compatibility issues.


Google Cloud Integration ā˜ļø

  • Deploy and manage front-end assets using Google Cloud Storage and Cloud CDN.


  • Maintain and configure Firebase (Hosting, Firestore, Authentication) for client-side functionality.


  • Monitor application health using Google Cloud Console (Logging, Monitoring, Error Reporting).


Development & Collaboration šŸ’»

  • Implement responsive UI components using modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).


  • Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure secure data flow between the front end and GCP backend services.


  • Utilize Git for version control and participate in CI/CD pipeline workflows (Cloud Build).

šŸŽÆ Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Core Tech Stack: High proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/Less), and JavaScript (ES6+).


  • Framework Experience: Professional experience with at least one modern framework (React is preferred).


  • GCP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services:


  • Firebase (Hosting/Auth)


  • Google Cloud Console


  • Cloud Run or App Engine


  • Performance Tools: Familiarity with Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, and Chrome DevTools.


  • Design Systems: Ability to translate Figma/Sketch designs into pixel-perfect code.
