Senior Application Programmer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Programmer with strong expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SQL/RDBMS, application lifecycle management, security, and enterprise integration.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. The position will also provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal developers and citizen developers.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

• Strong experience with:

  • Power Apps

  • Power Automate

  • Power BI

  • Dataverse

  • On-premises and cloud RDBMS

• 5+ years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

• Strong understanding of Dev/Test/Production environment strategies, deployment, and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC).

• Strong SQL query development and database experience.

• 5+ years of experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical designs.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a shared-services environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or other conversational AI platforms.

• Experience working in government, public sector, or regulated environments.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Familiarity with Dynamics 365.

• Experience with Azure services such as:

  • Azure Logic Apps

  • Azure Functions

  • Azure API Management

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform.

• Microsoft certifications such as:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate

  • Power Platform Solution Architect Expert

  • Other relevant Microsoft certifications
