Job description

   

We are currently looking for a detailed & experience purchasing Manager  responsible for overseeing the procurement function of the organization, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods, materials, and services. This role involves developing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Purchasing Manager collaborates closely with internal departments to support operational requirements while achieving quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing policies, procedures, and strategies.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.

Manage procurement budgets and control purchasing costs.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.

Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company standards.

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Review and approve purchase orders and contracts.

Coordinate with finance, operations, and warehouse teams to meet organizational needs.

Prepare procurement reports and performance metrics for management.

 Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.

Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.

Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain best practices.

Strategic sourcing expertise.

Leadership and team management capabilities.

Vendor performance evaluation and risk management.

Cost reduction and process improvement experience.
