Job description

About Wildergo

Wildergo is rapidly ramping up the scale of our engineering team to supercharge our development and launch our apps into the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. After hitting technical roadblocks that delayed our initial target date, we are expanding our team to aggressively solve code loops, clear system errors, and push our product to the finish line.

The Opportunity & Compensation

This is a deferred compensation position for a builder who wants high equity upside in exchange for immediate launch-ready impact.

  • Immediate: Equity stake (negotiable based on experience).

  • Future: Full market-rate salary and benefits triggered immediately upon our upcoming funding round.

  • Redundancy & Continuity: You will join a 4-person development team (2 iOS, 1 Android). We are structured so that if one developer is sick or on vacation, work never pauses ensuring seamless handoffs and continuous progress.

What You Will Do

  • Supercharge the Launch: Partner with our solid Android developer to untangle bugs, resolve warnings, fix execution loops, and fast-track the app into the Google Play Store.

  • Maintain Team Momentum: Keep the Android pipeline moving independently. You will cover for your partner during absences, provide recaps when they return, and ensure the Android platform matches iOS velocity.

  • Platform Alignment: Collaborate with the 2 iOS engineers to maintain feature parity and prepare for a simultaneous cross-platform release.

What We Are Looking For

  • Expert Debugger: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex errors, memory leaks, and warning loops where AI assistants fall short.

  • Production-Ready Android Skills: Professional experience with native Android development (Kotlin) and submitting apps to the Google Play Store.

  • Collaborative & Adaptable: Excellent documentation and communication habits, crucial for handing off work and recapping your team partner.
