Senior Ab Initio Developer

Location: Dallas, TX

Pay Rate: $45.00–$52.00/hour
Relocation: Candidates willing to relocate to Dallas, TX will be considered.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ab Initio Developer with strong expertise in Ab Initio development, administration, ETL, data transformation, SQL, and Unix/Linux.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and maintaining Ab Initio applications, developing complex data transformations, troubleshooting data and application issues, and leading technical issue resolution.

This is an on-site position in Dallas, TX. Candidates who are not currently local but are willing to relocate to Dallas will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, debug, and maintain Ab Initio graphs and ETL workflows.
  • Perform Ab Initio administration and configuration activities.
  • Develop complex data transformation, cleansing, and integration processes.
  • Write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries for relational databases.
  • Use Unix/Linux commands and scripting to support development and production activities.
  • Troubleshoot application, data, and Ab Initio-related issues and drive timely resolution.
  • Lead technical discussions and collaborate with development, data, and business teams.
  • Support access management and Ab Initio environment configuration.
  • Configure and maintain Ab Initio EME environments.
  • Support Web Application configuration and Bridge Services.
  • Participate in technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience developing, debugging, and maintaining Ab Initio graphs.

  • Experience with Ab Initio administration, including:

    • Access management
    • Ab Initio EME configuration
    • Web Application configuration
    • Bridge Services
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and best practices.

  • Experience with complex data transformation, data cleansing, and data integration.

  • Strong Unix/Linux skills, including command-line operations and scripting.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

  • Experience with databases such as Oracle and Teradata.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug Ab Initio applications and workflows.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to lead technical discussions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation
