Operations Apprentice — Watch Fulfillment (Part-Time)

The Role
We’re hiring a part-time operations apprentice to work across every function of our fulfillment operation. This isn’t a single-task warehouse job. You’ll rotate through receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, quality control, and client prep — handling premium timepieces from independent brands. The goal is to build someone who understands the full system, not just one station. We run a small operation augmented by AI and automation — you’ll work alongside the same tools we use to run the business.
What You’ll Learn and Do
• Receive, inspect, and catalog incoming inventory shipments from international suppliers
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with precision
• Perform quality checks, strap swaps, and light kitting on watches
• Manage inventory in our warehouse management system
• Prepare trade show materials and B2B shipments
• Support customs and importation documentation as needed
• Troubleshoot problems — because in a small operation, problems don’t wait for the right department

Who This Is For
You’re naturally curious about how things work — mechanically, operationally, or both. You pay close attention to detail without being told to. You’re not afraid to ask questions when unsure. You’d rather learn five things at 80% than one thing at 100%. You’re comfortable being on your feet and lifting up to 40 lbs. Our Everett warehouse is reachable by car or transit (SWIFT and Route 12 stop nearby). Interest in watches, horology, or precision goods is a plus — but what matters more is that you’re the kind of person who develops interests deeply once you’re exposed to them.
Schedule and Compensation
Part-time, 16–20 hours/week, with flexibility around class or other commitments. $20–25/hr. This role starts part-time, but Connexus is growing. The right person will have a path to expanded hours, increased responsibility, and potentially a full-time role as the operation scales.
