About This Role

The Mountain Lion Foundation is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and organized Virtual Data Entry Assistant to support day-to-day administrative and data-management activities. This is a 100% remote position designed for an individual who is comfortable working independently, handling digital information accurately, and communicating effectively with a remote team.

The Virtual Data Entry Assistant will help maintain accurate organizational records, update databases and spreadsheets, process information, and support administrative workflows. The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, protects confidential information, manages time effectively, and is committed to providing reliable administrative support to a mission-driven nonprofit organization.

Position Responsibilities:

Enter, update, verify, and maintain information in organizational databases, spreadsheets, and digital systems.

Review records for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and potential errors.

Update contact information, membership records, supporter information, and other organizational data as assigned.

Transfer information accurately between documents, spreadsheets, databases, and online systems.

Organize and maintain electronic files and records according to established procedures.

Identify duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent information and bring issues to the appropriate team member's attention.

Perform routine data-quality checks and correct errors when authorized.

Assist with organizing information for reports, internal projects, communications, and administrative activities.

Maintain accurate records of completed work and follow established data-management procedures.

Handle organizational and supporter information with appropriate confidentiality and discretion.

Respond to internal requests for data or administrative assistance in a timely and professional manner.

Support team members with routine administrative tasks as needed.

Communicate promptly when clarification, additional information, or assistance is required.

Meet established deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Follow organizational policies and procedures regarding privacy, data security, and information handling.

Perform other related administrative duties as reasonably assigned.

Work Environment:

The anticipated base compensation for this position should be established by the organization based on the position's responsibilities, qualifications, experience, applicable wage requirements, and organizational budget.
