REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience writing and publishing technical documents or equivalent
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
Associate's degree or higher in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC programming experience, including operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes (2-axis through 5-axis)
Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, NX CAM, EdgeCam, or equivalent) for toolpath generation and CNC programming
Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent CAD software for reading and interpreting 3D models and engineering drawings
Solid understanding of machining principles, GD&T, and shop safety practices
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software, ensuring efficient toolpaths, proper feeds and speeds, and high-quality surface finishes
Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine maintenance and calibration on CNC equipment
Design and fabricate custom fixtures, jigs, and workholding devices to support production and assembly processes
Collaborate with engineering teams to assess part designs for manufacturability and recommend design improvements
Support machining operations and prepare materials for prototyping and production runs
Source and procure cutting tools, raw metals, and consumables; manage tooling inventory and maintain stock levels of hardware and fabrication supplies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment in compliance with machining safety standards
Generate process documentation, work instructions, CNC programs, and equipment maintenance logs
