Senior Payroll & Time Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Payroll & Time Specialist with deep, hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and WorkForce Software (WFS). In this role, you will help assess current payroll and time management capabilities, identify standard versus customized functionality, and provide guidance on modernizing payroll and workforce management systems.

The ideal candidate has participated in at least one large-scale payroll/time transformation or implementation and understands both the technical configuration and business processes required for a successful modernization effort.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and WorkForce Software (WFS) capabilities.

• Identify standard (out-of-the-box) functionality versus custom configurations.

• Evaluate existing reports and determine which are available out-of-the-box and which require custom development or configuration.

• Recommend system configurations to meet business and operational requirements.

• Analyze system limitations and opportunities for optimization.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate payroll and time management requirements into practical technical solutions.

• Provide expertise during payroll and workforce management transformation initiatives.

• Support on-site workshops, meetings, and project activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

• Strong experience with WorkForce Software (WFS).

• Experience with SAP HCM and SAP Payroll.

• Proven experience configuring and supporting payroll and time systems in a production environment.

• Experience participating in at least one end-to-end payroll or workforce management transformation or implementation.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Payroll processing

  • Time & Attendance

  • Pay rules

  • Integration between workforce management and payroll systems

• Experience translating business requirements into system configurations and functional solutions.

• Public sector or government payroll experience is required.

• Ability to work on-site as needed.
