Product Marketing Manager (PMM)

Full-Time | Consumer Healthcare / Subscription Services

TalentReach is hiring on behalf of a growing consumer healthcare company seeking a highly analytical, growth-focused Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to lead lifecycle marketing, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy for its subscription and membership offerings.

This is a hands-on role for someone with proven experience growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) subscription businesses through customer journey optimization, experimentation, data analysis, and retention strategies.

Summary

The Product Marketing Manager will own the customer lifecycle from acquisition and conversion through onboarding, engagement, retention, cancellation, and win-back.

You'll develop and execute growth strategies for subscription and membership products, optimize customer experiences, and use SQL, customer data, and experimentation to identify opportunities that improve conversion, membership adoption, retention, and lifetime value (LTV).

This role requires a combination of product marketing, lifecycle marketing, growth strategy, and hands-on analytical expertise.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle strategy across acquisition, conversion, onboarding, engagement, retention, cancellation, and win-back

  • Develop and optimize lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, SMS, CRM, landing pages, and other customer touchpoints

  • Analyze customer journeys to identify friction points, conversion barriers, and opportunities to improve engagement and retention

  • Build personalized customer journeys using behavioral data, product usage, lifecycle stages, and customer segmentation

  • Develop strategies to increase repeat purchases, cross-sell, upsell, retention, and customer lifetime value

  • Optimize lifecycle messaging, campaign timing, offers, and customer experiences based on performance data

  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new subscription products and membership offerings

  • Develop product positioning, value propositions, messaging, packaging, and audience segmentation

  • Identify opportunities to introduce membership offerings to new and existing customers

  • Build strategies to improve membership acquisition, adoption, engagement, retention, and win-back

  • Partner with Product teams on product development, customer experience improvements, and launches

  • Own A/B testing and experimentation across landing pages, conversion funnels, pricing, offers, messaging, email, SMS, and onboarding

  • Develop testing hypotheses, establish success metrics, analyze results, and scale successful experiments

  • Use SQL to analyze customer behavior, funnel performance, cohorts, conversion, retention, churn, and lifetime value

  • Identify gaps in tracking, reporting, and customer data

  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations to improve marketing and product performance

  • Conduct competitive research across products, pricing, membership offerings, positioning, and customer lifecycle strategies

  • Translate customer insights and market research into product and marketing opportunities

  • Develop customer-facing messaging and value propositions across the customer journey

  • Collaborate with Growth, Product, Data, Sales, Operations, and Compliance teams

  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure marketing communications, claims, promotions, and campaigns meet applicable requirements

  • Track and report on acquisition, conversion, membership adoption, engagement, retention, churn, and LTV

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of DTC growth experience within subscription-based businesses

  • Proven track record of growing consumer subscription or membership programs

  • Demonstrated experience improving customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and lifetime value

  • Strong lifecycle marketing experience across email, SMS, CRM, segmentation, retention, and win-back campaigns

  • Experience in product marketing, growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or conversion rate optimization

  • Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience analyzing customer and business data

  • Experience developing and executing A/B testing and experimentation programs

  • Strong understanding of conversion funnels, customer journey optimization, and CRO

  • Experience analyzing customer segmentation, cohorts, retention, churn, and LTV

  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies for consumer products or membership offerings

  • Ability to identify funnel leakage and translate data insights into actionable growth initiatives

  • Strong competitive analysis and market research skills

  • Experience developing customer messaging, positioning, and value propositions

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to independently manage initiatives from strategy through execution and measurement

  • Highly hands-on, data-driven, and comfortable working across multiple teams

  • Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within consumer healthcare, telehealth, health and wellness, or another regulated industry

  • Experience launching or scaling subscription and membership programs

  • Experience with subscription-based healthcare or consumer services

  • Experience building advanced CRM segmentation and automated lifecycle campaigns

  • Familiarity with healthcare marketing compliance considerations

  • Experience working closely with Product teams on customer experience and product roadmap initiatives

  • Experience optimizing pricing, offers, and membership packaging

  • Experience developing customer retention and churn-reduction strategies
