About the Role We are looking for a organized and professional Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys and legal staff. You will be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in keeping daily firm operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and client inquiries
Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and discretion
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, and hearings
Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and briefs
Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files
Coordinate court filings and track deadlines
Handle new client intake and conflict check processes
Manage office supplies, vendor coordination, and general office upkeep
Arrange travel and logistics for attorneys as needed
Assist with billing, invoices, and expense reports
Qualifications
2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a legal setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal software (e.g., Clio, iManage) is a plus
Familiarity with legal terminology and court filing systems (e.g., PACER) preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
Discreet and trustworthy in handling sensitive and confidential information
