Job Title: Buyer – Supply Chain

Location: Cleveland, OH

Job Type: Contract (18 Months)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Assignment Duration: 78 Weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Buyer – Supply Chain professional to support procurement operations within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will manage purchasing activities, process requisitions, coordinate order fulfillment, resolve procurement issues, and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process purchase requisitions for approval.

• Create and manage purchase orders based on business requirements.

• Handle urgent/rush order requests and ensure timely fulfillment.

• Monitor open purchase orders and complete order closure activities.

• Resolve credit hold issues with vendors and internal teams.

• Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and operational departments.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.

• Support procurement activities while following organizational policies and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution with 3 years of related experience

OR

• Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution with 3 years of related experience

OR

• Six (6) years of experience working as a Buyer in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Skills:

• Healthcare supply chain or purchasing experience.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Experience with procurement processes and vendor coordination.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

• Comfortable working in a professional office environment.
