Oracle Xstore Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications using Oracle Retail POS and Xstore, leveraging over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Implement object-oriented programming and SOLID principles in development tasks.

• Conduct systems analysis, design, and architecture, ensuring adherence to SDLC practices.

• Develop API integrations utilizing SOAP, RESTful services, and JSON formats.

• Solve complex problems through analytical thinking and effective debugging techniques.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

• Adapt swiftly to changing priorities to meet project demands and deadlines.

• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies in project management and development processes.

• Manage code repositories and build tools, including SVN, GIT, MAVEN, GRADLE, and JENKINS.

• Perform root cause analysis and solutions against established SLAs.

• Troubleshoot issues and conduct log analysis to identify problems.

• Code and debug within defined timelines while adhering to coding standards.

• Perform development and testing for major and minor enhancements.

• Exhibit strong analytical and communication skills throughout tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of total experience in software development.

• At least 5 years of experience in Oracle Retail POS and Xstore development.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.

• Proven experience in systems analysis, design, and architecture fundamentals.

• Familiarity with API integration development using SOAP, RESTful services, and JSON.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust to changing project requirements.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is essential.

• 8 to 10 years of total experience preferred.

• Experience in Oracle Retail POS, Oracle Xstore POS, or GK POS L3 Support is a must.

• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot and SQL.

• Proficient in XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP APIs.

• Basic knowledge of Spring framework.

• Experience with SVN and GIT version control systems.

• Familiarity with tools such as Bugzilla, Eclipse, Jenkins, and GitLab
