Project Estimator

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil site work and access construction projects. The ideal candidate will analyze construction drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, develop turnkey estimates, and prepare proposals for projects across industrial, commercial, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

• Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate project budgets.

• Conduct site visits to understand project scope and site conditions.

• Solicit, review, and negotiate vendor and subcontractor quotations.

• Identify project risks and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

• Develop preliminary project schedules and execution plans.

• Collaborate with owners, engineers, project managers, and field teams.

• Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Experience estimating civil/site development projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site work.

• Experience with estimating/scheduling tools such as HCSS, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera (preferred).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
