Overview

Client is seeking a Workday Financial Accounting Specialist to support general ledger integrity and full-cycle AP/AR operations within Workday Financials.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger audits and account reconciliations

• Support full-cycle Accounts Payable tasks (invoice processing, payment runs, vendor reconciliation)

• Support full-cycle Accounts Receivable tasks (billing, cash application, aging/collections support)

• Apply public accounting/GAAP principles to identify and resolve discrepancies

• Partner with city Finance staff on month-end/period-close activities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday Financials experience (GL, AP, AR modules)

• General public accounting knowledge (municipal/government accounting a plus)

• Experience with account reconciliation and audit processes

• Able to work independently in a remote/virtual capacity

• Public sector experience a plus, not required
