We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to assist with human resources functions across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience in HR operations within a fast-paced health tech startup. You’ll work closely with leadership to help build processes that support our growing, remote-first team.

Responsibilities
Assist with drafting and posting job descriptions on platforms such as Handshake, LinkedIn etc.
Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation, scheduling training, and setting up accounts.
Maintain accurate HR records and update employee information in our systems.
Assist in organizing team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
Conduct research on HR best practices to improve recruitment, retention, and workplace culture.
Skills Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative remote team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Knowledge of Slack and ClickUp is a plus.
A self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
Interest in HR processes, recruitment, and employee engagement.
Familiarity with HR tools, applicant tracking systems, or recruitment platforms is a plus.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Other Details
Hours: Flexible based on your availability, up to a maximum of 10 hours/week.
Work Location: All work is remote.
Communication: Meetings via Zoom or Google Meet. Tasks assigned in ClickUp; communication via Slack.
Mentorship: Work closely with the COO and CEO, with opportunities to collaborate with department leads.
Internship Duration: 6 months from date of hire, with the option to reapply.
