We are seeking experienced CAM Programmers to contribute their technical expertise to an AI training project focused on CNC manufacturing and digital fabrication.
In this role, you will apply your practical manufacturing knowledge to help evaluate and improve AI-generated work related to CAM programming. Your feedback will help establish what accurate, safe, and production-ready CAM work looks like.
What you'll do
Develop and review technical content related to CAM programming and CNC manufacturing
Evaluate CAM solutions for accuracy, safety, efficiency, and production readiness
Create clear, objective criteria for assessing toolpaths and manufacturing workflows
Identify technical errors, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Explain your reasoning through concise written feedback and occasional recorded demonstrations
Contribute real-world manufacturing knowledge to improve the quality of AI systems
Minimum qualifications
5+ years of professional CAM programming or CNC manufacturing experience
Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM
Experience programming 4-axis and/or 5-axis CNC toolpaths
Strong understanding of machining strategy, tooling, workholding, simulation, post-processing, and G-code
Ability to determine whether a CAM program would run safely and effectively in a production environment
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Access to Fusion 360 and the equipment needed to complete remote project work
