Today we are hiring a full-time Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician in Calexico, CA, Brawley, CA or Coachella, CA .

This is a M-F, 8a-5p position, occasional weekends position. 

 

This role involves providing high-quality healthcare to female patients, monitoring their reproductive health, delivering babies, managing chronic conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team for patient care.

 

Qualifications:

   Doctorate degree

   3+ years of experience in ALL of the following:

       Gynecology

       Obstetrics & Gynecology

   ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:

       American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)

       Medical Doctor (MD) in California (CA)

       American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

       Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS)

       Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

   Do you have past supervisory skills or are open to it in this role? 

   Are you OBGYN Board certification or Board eligible? 

   

Key Responsibilities:

● Provide highest quality healthcare to female patients

● Monitor patients during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods

● Perform tests, prescribe medications, and treatments as necessary

● Deliver babies ensuring health and safety of both infant and mother

● Participate in developing and reviewing Clinic's policies and services

● Deliver outpatient and in-hospital medical care

● Take responsibility for accurate charting and documentation

● Manage cases for patients with chronic conditions

● Adhere to medical and administrative protocols and ethics

● Consult Medical Director on patient management

● Recommend patients for further treatments and specialists

● Participate in staff meetings and provide input for clinic improvement

● Prescribe essential medicine to patients

● Perform related duties as directed by Medical Director

● Implement community-based, patient-centered medical home process

● Facilitate audits for meeting State and Federal regulations

● Serve as preceptor for medical students and students for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant programs

● Participate in daily team meetings/huddles

● Support Nursing Staff and implement policies and procedures

● Rotate between Health Clinics as needed

 

 

Schedule and Shift Details

● M-F, 8a-5p or 9a-6p. Weekends are possible. On-call 5-6 days/mo.
