Responsibilities:

• Analyze and monitor data loss prevention (DLP) systems to safeguard sensitive information from unauthorized access and breaches.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive DLP policies and procedures to effectively mitigate risks associated with data breaches.

• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and recommend effective solutions to enhance data security.

• Conduct regular audits and assessments of DLP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.

• Utilize DLP tools such as Symantec DLP, McAfee Total Protection, or Digital Guardian to monitor and protect sensitive data.

• Provide training and support to employees on data protection best practices, fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.

• Generate detailed reports on DLP incidents, trends, and compliance status for management review and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of data loss prevention technologies, methodologies, and best practices in data security.

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, IT compliance, or related fields, with a focus on data protection strategies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.

• Proficient in using DLP tools and technologies, with a solid grasp of data encryption and access control measures.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and compliance.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are preferred.
