Project Manager, Net New Solutions — Outbound Sales Operations
Role Overview
Net New Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate the outbound functions of the sales team. This role is responsible for managing the systems, processes, cadences, reporting, and execution discipline that turn prospecting activity into qualified pipeline. The ideal candidate is highly organized, sales-process driven, comfortable working across BDRs, AEs, marketing, leadership, and CRM systems, and understands that successful outbound sales requires consistency, speed, follow-up, and strong relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day execution of outbound sales campaigns, including call, email, LinkedIn, event follow-up, and account-based outreach.
- Build, maintain, and optimize outbound cadences for net new prospecting.
- Coordinate with BDRs, SDRs, account executives, and leadership to ensure leads are worked quickly and consistently.
- Own CRM hygiene, activity tracking, lead attribution, pipeline reporting, and outbound performance dashboards.
- Ensure prospects are properly segmented, prioritized, and moved through top-of-funnel, middle-of-funnel, and bottom-of-funnel stages.
- Support event and conference follow-up by organizing lead lists, assigning ownership, launching post-event cadences, and tracking resulting meetings, demos, opportunities, and revenue.
- Create and refine outbound messaging, value propositions, email templates, call scripts, and follow-up workflows.
- Monitor team execution against KPIs including calls, emails, connects, meetings booked, demos completed, pipeline created, and closed-won revenue.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements that increase speed-to-lead, conversion rates, and sales productivity.
- Partner with marketing to align outbound campaigns with content, events, target accounts, and buyer pain points.
- Help train team members on outbound best practices, CRM usage, lead qualification, follow-up discipline, and prospect engagement.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in sales operations, project management, outbound sales, BDR/SDR leadership, revenue operations, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales funnels, lead generation, qualification, nurturing, consultative selling, and pipeline creation.
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, stakeholders, and priorities at once.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze activity, conversion, and pipeline metrics.
- Comfortable creating processes, documenting workflows, and holding teams accountable to execution.
- Experience supporting conference, trade show, or event-based lead generation is a plus.
